Actor Aamir Khan made a guest appearance in Rajinikanth’s film, Coolie, which was released in theaters on August 14, 2025.

The film opened to mixed reviews.

There were rumors circulating that Aamir Khan had charged Rs 20 crore for his role. However, in a recent interview, he clarified, “I haven’t charged a single rupee for Coolie. It’s a great honor to share screen space with Rajinikanth, and that is a huge reward for me. I just made a guest appearance. Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna are the real heroes, which is why audiences are loving the film and rushing to theaters.”

The film was directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and stars Shruti Haasan as the leading lady.
