Bihar Assembly Elections LIVE Updates: Launching an attack on the Modi government, RJD leader and Mahagathbandhan’s chief ministerial face Tejashwi Yadav accused Nitish Kumar, Narendra Modi, and Amit Shah of turning Bihar into a “supplier of labourers”. Speaking during a Facebook Live session, Yadav said, “You must have seen that a large number of labourers go to Gujarat. The real meaning of Modi’s Gujarat model is that all the factories and industries will be set up in Gujarat, and labourers will go from Bihar.”
PM Modi Patna roadshow: Prime Minister Narendra Modi led a mega roadshow in Patna on Sunday evening, accompanied by Union minister Rajiv Ranjan Singh ‘Lalan’ of the JD(U), state BJP president Dilip Jaiswal and Patna Sahib MP Ravi Shankar Prasad. Modi began the roadshow from Dinkar Golambar. Before that, Modi Sunday took a swipe at the Congress leadership, saying that while blasts were taking place in Pakistan during Operation Sindoor, the Congress’s first family was losing sleep in India.

Manifesto: The Opposition’s manifesto for the upcoming assembly election promises government jobs and financial aid for women. It includes legislation to guarantee a job for one member of each family within 20 days of forming a government, 200 units of free electricity, and a monthly aid of ₹2,500 for women. The document lists 25 key points and also promises the implementation of the Old Pension Scheme. Meanwhile, the NDA’s manifesto pledges jobs for one crore youth, the creation of one crore ‘Lakhpati Didis’, the introduction of metro train services in four additional cities, and the establishment of seven international airports in the state, among other initiatives.
