Kartik Aaryan seems to be moving from strength to strength. Scarcely having finished shooting for projects with Anurag Basu and Karan Johar, he is now on to something equally exciting — this time with Shimit Amin, who gave Shah Rukh Khan one of his top films, Chak De India.

After SRK, Shimit went on to direct Ranbir Kapoor in Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, which, however, received a disastrous response. He hasn’t come out with an independent project for the last 17 years.

But with this new project in which Kartik Aaryan is playing an Air Force pilot, things are changing for Shimit. Kartik will take time off to learn how to fly a plane. Filming is expected to start from the beginning of January 2026.
