NEW DELHI: The Delhi Police on Friday said that the last 23 bomb threats sent to different schools in the national capital via emails were sent by a class 12 student.
According to DCP South Ankit Chauhan, the student admitted that he had sent threat emails earlier as well.
This comes days after the police had revealed that the bomb threat emails to at least three schools in Delhi were sent by their own students.
After the initial probe by the Delhi Police special cell, a police official said that the threats were sent by two siblings in the school because they wanted the exams to be postponed. During counselling, both students revealed that they had got the idea from previous incidents of bomb threats being made to schools, the officer said.
They were later allowed to go after their parents were given a warning. According to officials, two more schools located in Rohini and Paschim Vihar were sent threatening emails by their students.
