HYDERABAD: Excise STF D team seized ganja and cannabis tablets and apprehended a man during a raid at Jayabharathinagar Colony in Nizampet under Medchal-Malkajgiri district limits.

According to police the man identified as Guru Sumanth was apprehended near Vijetha super market and recovered 200 grams of ganja and eight cannabis tablets from his possession. A motorcycle allegedly used for transporting narcotic substances was also seized.

Police said another accused, identified as Sai Krishnam Raju from Visakhapatnam supplied the substances to Sumanth. CI, STF C.A. Nagaraju said the accused was handed over to Kukatpally excise police station for further investigation and legal action.
