Vijayawada:Andhra Pradesh Governor S. Abdul Nazeer extended heartfelt greetings to all children in the state on the occasion of Children’s Day, observed on November 14.

In a statement from Raj Bhavan on Wednesday, the Governor said, “Children’s Day is celebrated on November 14 every year to commemorate the birth anniversary of our first Prime Minister, Bharat Ratna Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, who was a strong advocate of children’s education, considering them the backbone of Indian society.

Children are the future of the nation, the citizens of tomorrow, and they should be nurtured and groomed to become responsible citizens. As future custodians of our country, they bear the responsibility of safeguarding the motherland and building a bright future for all.”
