Ponnuru: A woman allegedly killed her mother for opposing her love affair in Ponnuru town of Guntur district.
According to reports, Epuru Lakshmi, a resident of Cabin Peta, had opposed her daughter Pushpa Latha’s relationship with Raja, a local resident.
Pushpa Latha and her boyfriend Raja allegedly murdered Lakshmi on Friday midnight.
Police reached the spot after receiving information.
A case has been registered, and an investigation is underway.
