IMD India Weather Forecast Today Live News Updates: The India Meteorological Department forecasted that Jharkhand, Odisha, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh would receive heavy to very heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds reaching 40-50 kmph today. Isolated heavy rainfall is likely over Goa, Maharashtra, and Gujarat.

South India: Light to moderate rainfall with isolated thunderstorms, lightning over Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Rayalaseema and Telangana. With strong surface winds likely over Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. However, hot and humid weather is very likely at isolated places over Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal. The wet weather conditions will also be visible over Northeast India over the next 7 days.
