Jio Studios has acquired stake in Guneet Monga and Achin Jain’s Sikhya Entertainment to co-create films and series for audiences in India and around the world, they announced through a press release on Tuesday, February 3, 2026.

Reliance Strategic Business Ventures Limited (RSBVL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries Limited, acquired a 50.1% stake in Sikhya Entertainment. Jio Studios is known for backing blockbusters like Dhurandhar, Stree franchise and smaller films like Laapataa Ladies.

Sikhya is the studio behind Oscar winners, Period. End of Sentence. (Best Documentary Short Subject) and The Elephant Whisperers (Best Documentary Short Film). Along with that, the banner has produced The Lunchbox, Masaan, Pagglait, Kathal, and Kill among others.
