Global pop stars, Jonas Brothers have unintentionally set the Indian internet buzzing after a fun video of them dancing to the Bollywood track “Shararat” from the Ranveer Singh starrer Dhurandhar went viral on social media.
In a clip shared on Instagram, Nick Jonas, along with brothers Kevin and Joe, grooves to the newly released energetic number, Shararat. In the caption, he wrote, “New pre show hype song unlocked,”
The song is sung by Madhubanti Bagchi and Jasmine Sandlas with music by Shashwat Sachdev, and features Ayesha Khan and Krystle D’Souza in the music video.
Indian fans reacted with delight and humour. Many dubbed Nick “National Jiju” a playful reference to his relationship with Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra while others joked, “Do you have your Aadhaar card?” as a light hearted way of claiming him as one of their own.
