The Kerala High Court has dismissed petitions that had been filed challenging the final notifications issued by the Kerala State Delimitation Commission regarding the delimitation of wards for the impending local body polls. A total of 103 petitions had been filed in this regard, following which the court considered them together. Referring to the provisions of the Indian Constitution, the court observed that the orders issued by the commission cannot be challenged before the court.
