KOZHIKODE: A man sustained serious injuries after being stabbed in the neck and chest during a clash between two groups at Seethamgoli in Kasaragod late Saturday night.According to Kumbla police, the victim, identified as Anil Kumar (36), a native of Badiadka, was attacked around 11 pm by a gang of 14 members. Kumar was rushed to the hospital with the knife still lodged in his neck.Police said the gang had asked Kumar to come to Seethamgoli under the pretext of discussing a financial dispute, but assaulted him upon his arrival.Four persons have been arrested in connection with the incident, and two vehicles used by the assailants have been seized. They have been booked under BNS sections 189 (2), 191(2), 191(3), 126(2), 118(1), 109(1), and 190The FIR states that the accused also held a grudge against Kumar over an earlier case registered against them at the Badiadka police station.Kumar is being treated at a Mangaluru hospital for the stab injuries.
