Rahul Gandhi ‘vote chori’ allegation: Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi will address a press conference at the AICC headquarters in New Delhi. He will address the media around noon. He is likely to make a major disclosure in the ‘vote fraud’ controversy and the alleged and anomalies in the electoral rolls. Previously he had dubbed his expected disclosure a “hydrogen bomb”.
On September 1, Gandhi warned the BJP that he would soon reveal this explosive evidence, saying the material shown about Mahadevpura, Maharashtra, was only an “atom bomb” compared with what is to come. Speaking at a public meeting to mark the end of the 16-day ‘Voter Adhikar Yatra’, Rahul Gandhi targeted the BJP, accusing the saffron party of undermining India’s constitutional foundations.

He said those “who murdered Mahatma Gandhi are now trying to destroy the Constitution of India”.
During the yatra, the Congress tried to spread awareness about voter rights and to protest the alleged “vote theft (vote chori)” and purported irregularities in the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls. In Patna, Gandhi told Mahagathbandhan supporters that the party had already exposed wrongdoing in Mahadevpura and promised a larger revelation ahead. “We had shown an atom bomb in Mahadevpura, but soon we will come with a hydrogen bomb. BJP, get ready. Their truth will be shown to the country,” he said, adding that after the “hydrogen bomb” Prime Minister Narendra Modi “won’t be able to show his face to this country.” He also expressed gratitude to the people of Bihar for their support during the yatra.
