Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced a slew of major initiatives, including a space technology policy, at the Tech Growth Conclave 2025, held at Indore’s Brilliant Convention Centre on Sunday.
Yadav revealed that the space tech policy aims to position Madhya Pradesh as a key player in India’s space technology ecosystem.
Complementing this, a Cyber Security Centre of Excellence will be established with the aim of bolstering the state’s capabilities in safeguarding digital infrastructure.
The state is also set to advance its electronics manufacturing capabilities through the Electronic Manufacturing Cluster 2.0 Project in Bhopal.
This initiative will attract Rs 20,000 crore in investment and generate over 75,000 jobs, creating a robust ecosystem for electronics production, Yadav said.
Furthering innovation in education and technology, an Indian Institute of Creative Technology Regional Centre will be established, serving as a platform for digital innovation, creative education, and skill development. This centre is expected to empower the youth with cutting-edge skills to meet the demands of the digital economy.
To streamline investment and foster a tech-friendly environment, the MP Digital Economy Mission will be launched to facilitate investment incentives. Additionally, four new facility centres will be set up in the IT parks of Indore, Bhopal, Jabalpur, and Gwalior to support the growing tech ecosystem.
