Hyderabad: Medchal MLA Malla Reddy participated in the birthday celebrations of BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao (KTR) at Bowenpally on Friday.

Responding to a letter allegedly written in blood by a BRS worker expressing concern over rumours that he might switch parties, Malla Reddy said he was saddened by the news. He said he did not know the identity or address of the person who wrote the letter and added that he would have met the supporter if he had known.

Refuting the speculation, Malla Reddy asserted that he has no plans to switch to any other political party.

Rumours had been circulating recently that the Medchal MLA was planning to leave the BRS. However, Malla Reddy dismissed the reports as baseless.
