According to preliminary reports, the tanker was heading towards Hyderabad when the tanker’s driver lost control, apparently due to brake failure. The vehicle hit the divider and overturned, crushing the car beneath its weight.

Toll gate personnel immediately alerted the police, who rushed to the scene. Rescue operations were launched with the help of JCB machines and cranes to lift the heavy tanker. The operation took nearly two hours before the body could be extricated.

Meanwhile, traffic movement was severely disrupted, as the accident occurred exactly at the toll gate. A large crowd of onlookers gathered, further complicating rescue efforts for the police.

The victim was identified as B. Srinivasa Rao, an advocate from Hyderabad. He was reportedly returning from Vijayawada to Hyderabad when the unfortunate incident took place. Police later cleared the traffic and dispersed the crowd.
