Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday said ‘Mann Ki Baat’, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio show, has become a major platform for sharing inspiring stories of social achievements and people’s participation.
“It has emerged as a powerful medium to unite and inspire the nation, encouraging collective efforts towards positive change,” she said.
Ms. Gupta joined a programme at Civic Centre where the Jain community’s Anuvrat was celebrated and ‘Mann Ki Baat’ was aired. Mayor Raja Iqbal Singh, Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva, and eminent members of the Jain community were also present.
Mr. Sachdeva said that through the radio show, Mr. Modi has highlighted the significance of the Chhath puja, which should serve as an inspiration for all.
“Inspired by the Prime Minister’s assertion on the celebration of the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram on November 7, we appeal to the youth of Delhi to spread greater awareness about our national song so that feelings of patriotism and respect for the nation are awakened among the younger generation,” he said.
