Visakhapatnam: MSME Minister Kondapalli Srinivas has said the state government is facilitating the start of more industries that would provide jobs for youths in Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the media in Vizianagaram on Sunday, he said the government was keen on giving equal priority to development and welfare. “Many industrialists are now showing interest in investing in the state due to their trust in chief minister Chandrababu Naidu’s administration.”
This, he said, has created an optimistic attitude among the youth and they are confident jobs will come. “Opportunities are immense for development of the petrochemical and pharma sectors in north Andhra. The government is working on these lines,” he said.
The minister said special attention has been paid to prevent migration and increase employment opportunities in the north Andhra region. “Efforts are on to establish biotechnology and EV clusters. There are a lot of employment opportunities in the tourism sector. Several tourism projects with private participation are in the pipeline. A boat ride service has recently been launched in Tatipudi.”
If the Raipur Greenfield Highway and Bhogapuram Airport are completed, employment opportunities will expand further, he said.
