In a reshuffle of Superintendents of Police, the Puducherry government has transferred and posted Subham Sundar Ghosh, currently the Superintendent of Police (Headquarters), Puducherry, as the Superintendent of Police, Karaikal (South Sub-Division).

According to an order issued by Chief Secretary Sharat Chauhan, notifying jurisdictional changes of officers in the Home Department with the approval of Lt. Governor K. Kailashnathan, R. Bakthavathsalan, SP (South Sub-Division), Puducherry, will discharge the duties of SP, Traffic (South-West), Puducherry.

N. Selvam, SP, Traffic (North-East), Puducherry, will discharge the duties of SP, South Sub-Division, Puducherry. R. Mohankumar, SP, Traffic (South-West), Puducherry, has been posted as SP (Headquarters), Puducherry. Rachna Singh, Commandant (PAP), Puducherry, has been posted as SP, Traffic (North-East), Puducherry.

In other changes: M. Murugaiyan, Officer on Special Duty at Pondicherry University on a deputation basis, has been repatriated and shall discharge the duties of SP, Karaikal North Sub-Division. A. Subramanian, SP, Karaikal South Sub-Division, has been posted as SP, West Sub-Division, Puducherry. S. Palanivelu, SP, Coastal Security, has been posted as SP, CB-CID, Puducherry. Nallam Krishnaraya Babu, SP, Motor Transport, has been posted as SP, Vigilance, and SP, Coastal Security, Puducherry.

According to the order, R. Ragunayagam, SP (Special Branch), shall discharge the duties of SP (North Sub-Division), Puducherry; Vamseedhara Reddy Datla, SP (West Sub-Division), Puducherry, shall discharge the duties of Officer on Special Duty, Pondicherry University, Puducherry, on a deputation basis; G. Saravanan, SP (Mahe Sub-Division), shall discharge the duties of SP (Policing of Police) Puducherry; and Chinta Kodandaram, SP (Policing of Police), shall discharge the duties of Commandant (Puducherry Armed Police) and SP (Special Branch), Puducherry.

K. Varadharajan, SP awaiting posting, shall discharge the duties of SP (Yanam Sub-Division). The pay and allowances in respect of the above officers shall be claimed against the available sanctioned posts, the order said.
