Union Minister and Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) chief Chirag Paswan on Monday predicted a decisive victory for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the upcoming Bihar Assembly elections, while taking a sharp dig at the opposition Mahagathbandhan over its seat-sharing discord.
Speaking to reporters in Patna, Paswan dismissed the idea of a friendly contest between the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and the Congress and said, “There is nothing called as friendly fight, either you are friends or fighting with each other. The friendly conflict does not happen in politics; this is wrong terminology.”
NDA will celebrate another Diwali on November 14
Paswan expressed confidence in the NDA’s performance, saying that the coalition is poised to celebrate “another Diwali” on November 14, the day election results are out. “The feedback from the ground is very encouraging. We expect to win more seats than anticipated, even in tough constituencies. The people understand that the Mahagathbandhan, which cannot manage an alliance of a few parties, cannot manage the state. NDA will celebrate another Diwali on November 14, while it will be disappointing for Mahagathbandhan leaders who won’t get this opportunity,” Chirag Paswan stated.
