The voters’ information slip, popularly known as ‘booth slip’, have been issued to over 11.92 lakh electorate in the district, Collector R. Alagumeena has informed.

Since these slips carrying the names of voters, Electors’ Photo Identity Card number, electoral roll part number, serial number and the booth number it would be handy for the voters to reach the right booth and cast their votes without hassle, the slips, which were once issued by the political parties in fray, is being now given by the Election Commission of India itself.
