Warangal: Under the auspices of the Telangana Department of Culture, a 50-minute Perini dance performance was recorded at the historic Kakatiya Kala Kshetra, home to the Sri Bhavani and Ganapeshwara temples in Kotagallu, Ghanapuram mandal, Jayashankar Bhupalpally district.
Perini Dance Guru Sandeep led a troupe of 20 artistes, with filming supervised by director Shravan Victory Apoori and supported by Telangana Language and Cultural Department director Mamidi Harikrishna. The event, held on Thursday, is part of a broader initiative to preserve and promote the region’s rich cultural heritage.
“Filming the dance here underscores our commitment to safeguarding and sharing local traditions,” said Guru Sandeep, who noted the performance would help introduce the world to the Kakatiya dynasty’s artistic legacy.
