JAMMU: A joint team of police and administrative officials attached properties of three Pakistan-based terrorists in Kotranka in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district under CrPC in connection with an FIR registered at Kandi PS, police said Friday.
The details of the terrorists and the attached properties are: Khadim Hussain of Kandi-Kotranka (3 kanals, 4 marlas, and 31sqft); Muneer Hussain of Gakhrote-Kotranka (2 kanals and 8 marlas), and Mohammad Shabir of Panjnara-Kotranka (2 kanals, 2 marlas, and 253sqft), a police spokesperson said. The total property attached is 7 kanals and 15 marlas, having an approximate market value of Rs 18.5 lakhs, the spokesperson added.
The attachment was carried out following orders of the Court of Judicial Magistrate 1st Class, Kotranka, police said. “This operation underscores the commitment of J&K Police and district administration to combat anti-national elements and safeguard public order,” said the spokesperson, urging citizens to report any suspicious activities to law enforcement agencies.
