While shops had opened in the morning in the Barmer city market, police were seen going from shop to shop, asking for them to be shut down. Subsequently, people in the markets were seen rushing home as sirens blared.

This comes after drones were sighted and loud explosions were heard the previous night in Jaisalmer and Barmer districts of Rajasthan.

Debris, suspected to be from Pakistan’s overnight strike attempts, were found in different parts of the state in the morning.
