Australian emergency services rushed eight people to hospitals on Sunday following a shooting at Sydney’s popular Bondi Beach, officials said, as police responded to a developing incident and urged the public to avoid the area. A spokesperson for the New South Wales Ambulance Service said multiple people were treated at the scene before eight were transported to hospitals across Sydney, as reported by AFP.
