Hyderabad:Shadnagar police arrested four persons in connection with the theft of aluminium wires from electric poles, electric wires and other iron goods within the Shadnagar police station limits. Cash to the tune of`12.50 lakh was recovered from their possession, said Shadnagar police in a press release here on Wednesday.

The accused include Katta Srinivas, Kakunoori Srikanth, Banoth Raju, Dilvar. Around 11 cases are registered against them within cyberabad limits, four in Rachakonda and two in Mahaboobnagar.

The incident came to light when Nadimpally Madhava Varma, a businessman, lodged a complaint with Shadnagar police on October 20.
