Sunday-Funday would be back in Hyderabad. The carnival-style event, which used to be looked forward to by families in the city, is scheduled to be held at Tank Bund on May 18, as per the revised itinerary of the Miss World 2025 contest released on Saturday (May 3).

Besides, Telangana’s history and growth story is planned to be projected on the Telangana secretariat. The programmes are scheduled from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m.

When the Sunday-Funday was held earlier, Tank Bund road was closed for vehicles. It was last held over two years ago. The space was used to set up stalls and for people to stroll without worrying about vehicular traffic. Musical performances, fireworks, folk arts and other events were organised. Fountain show was held at Hussainsagar.
