Actress Trisha Krishnan’s X account was hacked on Tuesday, prompting her to warn followers about suspicious activity through her Instagram platform.
“My Twitter is hacked, guys. Whatever is posted is not from me until rectified. Thanks,” said the Leo actress on her Instagram Stories.
A cryptocurrency-related scam was posted on her hacked account. It has since been removed. The fraudulent post, which included her photograph, read, “I am excited to do something like this for the first time. I created my own cryptocurrency and now it’s live! I love you all.” This isn’t the first security breach of Trisha’s X account. In 2017, during the Pongal festival, her account was hacked amid controversies surrounding Jallikattu and her alleged association with PETA, compelling her to temporarily deactivate her account and issue a clarification.
