Bhubaneswar: In a bizarre and troubling incident, two women were captured on CCTV allegedly fleeing with the mobile phone of a deceased youth in Bhubaneswar’s Badagada Colony on Wednesday morning.

According to police sources, the body of a young man was discovered under suspicious circumstances. While foul play is suspected, investigators have not ruled out the possibility of suicide. The man’s identity remains unconfirmed, and the events leading to his death are still under investigation.

What has added a dramatic twist to the case is the presence of two unidentified women at the scene. Eyewitnesses reported seeing them take the mobile phone lying near the body before fleeing on a scooter. CCTV footage from nearby cameras clearly shows the duo leaving the area at high speed.

The local Badagada Police launched a search operation to identify and locate the two women, suspecting they may hold vital clues to the circumstances surrounding the youth’s death. Investigators are currently analysing call records and additional surveillance footage to establish any connection between the women and the deceased.
