Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) Chairman M.V. Pranav Gopal on Wednesday said that Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and IT Minister Nara Lokesh are working tirelessly to restore the State to its former glory, after a decade of decline over a period of 10 years during the YSRCP regime.
In a release here on Wednesday, Mr. Gopal criticised the YSRCP leaders for spreading false propaganda, as they could not tolerate the large-scale industrial investments into the State.
He demanded that former Minister Gudivada Amarnath, who was the IT Minister in the previous YSRCP government reveal the number of IT companies and industries attracted during his tenure to the State. He further demanded that a white paper be released detailing the number of industries and investments attracted after attending the Davos meeting by the previous government.
He added that the credit for bringing the Google Data center to Visakhapatnam goes to the coalition government. He further stated that it is not just the data center, but many IT companies have come forward to invest and start their operations in Visakhapatnam.
He urged the YSRCP leaders to stop politically criticising the TDP-led alliance government and asked them instead to observe the current developments taking place across the State.
