Issues related to drinking water supply, installation and repair of streetlights and electric poles, and maintenance of resettlement board tenements took centrestage at the Ward 169 Area Sabha meeting chaired by Deputy Mayor and Ward Councillor M. Magesh Kumaar on Wednesday.

Concerns were also raised about road conditions and stormwater drain construction. A press release stated that officials from the relevant departments provided clarifications in response to the residents’ queries.

According to the release, the meeting was attended by zonal officers, Area Sabha members, and officials from the Revenue Department, Electricity Board, Chennai Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board, and other civic service departments.
