Senior Congress leader and Gajapathinagaram constituency in-charge Chitrada Durga Prasad on Friday said that former prime minister Indira Gandhi’s contribution to the development of the nation and her sacrifice to protect the country from terrorists should be made known to the young generation, who are being misled through false propaganda against her family on social media platforms.

Speaking at the commemoration of Indira Gandhi’s death anniversary, Mr. Durga Prasad along with Congress activists conducted blood donation camp and organised charitable activities in Gajapathinagaram.

Mr. Durga Prasad called upon party leaders and activists to widely publicise Indira Gandhi’ contribution to development during the Congress regime. He added that Rahul Gandhi’s relentless fight against the policies of the Union government was drawing people back to the Congress.
