استقبل أمير منطقة جازان الأمير محمد بن عبدالعزيز بن محمد بن عبدالعزيز، في مكتبه، مدير عام فرع صندوق التنمية الزراعية بالمنطقة المهندس فواز زعقان. واطّلع خلال الاستقبال، على التقرير السنوي للفرع لعام 2025، وما تضمنه من مؤشرات الأداء وجهود الصندوق في دعم التنمية الزراعية المستدامة، حيث بلغ حجم التمويلات خلال عام 2025 أكثر من (160) مليون ريال، بزيادة بلغت (18%) مقارنة بالعام 2024.
واستعرض التقرير أبرز التمويلات الموجهة للمنتجات الزراعية الريفية، وفي مقدمتها البن السعودي، الذي تجاوز حجم تمويله (60) مليون ريال خلال عام 2025، إلى جانب جهود الصندوق في دعم المنتجات الزراعية ذات الأولوية، وتعزيز استخدام التقنيات الحديثة والشراكات التمويلية، بما يسهم في تنمية القطاع الزراعي وتحقيق مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030.
ونوّه أمير المنطقة بالدور الذي يضطلع به صندوق التنمية الزراعية في دعم القطاع الزراعي، مؤكدًا أهمية مواصلة الجهود لتعزيز التنمية الزراعية المستدامة، وتمكين المزارعين، وتعزيز الأمن الغذائي في المنطقة.
The Governor of Jazan Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, received in his office the Director General of the Agricultural Development Fund branch in the region, Engineer Fawaz Zaqan. During the reception, he was briefed on the annual report of the branch for the year 2025, which included performance indicators and the fund’s efforts in supporting sustainable agricultural development. The total financing during the year 2025 exceeded (160) million riyals, with an increase of (18%) compared to the year 2024.
The report highlighted the main financing directed towards rural agricultural products, foremost among them being Saudi coffee, which saw financing exceed (60) million riyals during the year 2025, in addition to the fund’s efforts in supporting priority agricultural products and enhancing the use of modern technologies and financing partnerships, contributing to the development of the agricultural sector and achieving the targets of Saudi Vision 2030.
The Governor of the region emphasized the role played by the Agricultural Development Fund in supporting the agricultural sector, stressing the importance of continuing efforts to enhance sustainable agricultural development, empower farmers, and strengthen food security in the region.
