اختتمت اليوم أولى فعاليات الاحتفال باليوم العالمي للغة العربية، التي نظمها مجمع الملك سلمان العالمي للغة العربية ورابطة العالم الإسلامي، في المقر الرئيس للرابطة بمدينة مكة المكرمة، تحت عنوان: «مسارات مبتكرة للغة العربية: السياسات والممارسات من أجل مستقبل لغوي أكثر شمولا»، وذلك بحضور الأمين العام لرابطة العالم الإسلامي، رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين، الشيخ الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى، والأمين العام لمجمع الملك سلمان العالمي للغة العربية، الدكتور عبدالله بن صالح الوشمي، ومشاركة نخبة من العلماء ورؤساء الوفود، وعدد من كبار المختصين والمهتمين بالشأنين اللغوي والثقافي.
وتطرق الدكتور العيسى إلى ما تميزت به العربية من خصائص، في طليعتها أن القرآن الكريم نزل بلسانها المبين، كما امتازت بغزارة نظامها الاشتقاقي وقدرتها على الابتكار بسبب مرونة لسان العرب على شرطه وهو التجانس مع بنيته.
اعتزاز بالشراكة
وأعرب العيسى عن اعتزاز رابطة العالم الإسلامي بالشراكة مع مجمع الملك سلمان في خدمة اللغة العربية، منوها بالجهود الكبيرة التي يبذلها المجمع في هذا المجال، والتي تعكس حرص المملكة العربية السعودية على تمكين اللغة العربية في مختلف الحقول؛ من التخطيط والسياسات اللغوية، مرورا بالمنصات والمعاجم الرقمية الشاملة، ووصولا إلى البرامج والمبادرات الثقافية الساعية إلى ترسيخ الهوية اللغوية وتعزيز حضورها لدى مختلف فئات المجتمع.
وتابع العيسى: «العربية أحوج ما تكون اليوم للحفاوة بها من مركز قوتها، ومنطلق تأثيرها، حيث بلد المنشأ، ومهد اللسان، إذ انطلق صوت الضاد للعالمين يسوق التاريخ من قبل الصحراء، من مركز جزيرة العرب وحاضنة مقدساتهم حيث الخدمة والشرف من المملكة العربية السعودية فكان مجمع الملك سلمان العالمي للغة العربية، فحقق الله به أملا طال انتظاره».
خطوة مؤسسية
من جهته، أوضح الدكتور الوشمي أن التعاون بين المجمع والرابطة في إطار اليوم العالمي للغة العربية يمثل خطوة مؤسسية مهمة ضمن الجهود الدولية لخدمة اللغة العربية، ويجسد دور المجمع في تنسيق المبادرات النوعية، وتعزيز الوعي اللغوي في المحافل الدولية، دعما لأهداف رؤية السعودية 2030 في ترسيخ الهوية الثقافية، وتعزيز التفاهم الحضاري.
كما ثمن جهود رابطة العالم الإسلامي وتعاونها البناء في هذا الميدان، مؤكدا أهمية التكامل بين المؤسسات الوطنية والدولية في تعزيز مكانة اللغة العربية عالميا.
واستعرض عديدا من مهمات وجهود المجمع، شارحا ذلك في كلمته الشاملة في جلسة الافتتاح، وأثناء تجول ضيوف الحفل في معرض المجمع المصاحب، مبرزا بالنماذج المشاهدة حجم التموضع الدولي الكبير للمجمع فضلا عن مخرجاته النوعية.
وتضمنت الفعالية برنامجا علميا وثقافيا وجلسات حوارية ناقشت حالة اللغة العربية في العالم الإسلامي، والإجراءات المنهجية لدراسة تعليم العربية في دوله، إلى جانب معرض تعريفي مصاحب قدم نماذج من مشروعات المجمع وإصداراته العلمية، وركن للحرف اليدوية المرتبطة بالعربية، في تجربة تفاعلية تستعرض أوجه الارتباط بين اللغة العربية والهوية الثقافية الإسلامية.
The first events celebrating the International Day of the Arabic Language concluded today, organized by the King Salman Global Center for the Arabic Language and the Muslim World League, at the league’s headquarters in the holy city of Mecca, under the title: “Innovative Pathways for the Arabic Language: Policies and Practices for a More Inclusive Linguistic Future,” with the attendance of the Secretary-General of the Muslim World League, Chairman of the Council of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, the Secretary-General of the King Salman Global Center for the Arabic Language, Dr. Abdullah bin Saleh Al-Washmi, and participation from a select group of scholars, heads of delegations, and a number of senior specialists and those interested in linguistic and cultural affairs.
Dr. Al-Issa addressed the distinctive features of the Arabic language, foremost among them being that the Holy Quran was revealed in its clear tongue, as well as its rich derivational system and its capacity for innovation due to the flexibility of the Arabic language, provided it maintains harmony with its structure.
Pride in Partnership
Al-Issa expressed the Muslim World League’s pride in its partnership with the King Salman Center in serving the Arabic language, highlighting the significant efforts made by the center in this field, which reflect the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s commitment to empowering the Arabic language in various domains; from planning and language policies, through comprehensive digital platforms and dictionaries, to cultural programs and initiatives aimed at solidifying linguistic identity and enhancing its presence among various segments of society.
Al-Issa continued: “The Arabic language is in greater need today for appreciation from its center of strength and point of influence, which is its country of origin, the cradle of the tongue, where the voice of the Arabic language has resonated throughout history from the desert, from the heart of the Arabian Peninsula and the sanctuary of their sacred sites, where service and honor come from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Thus, the King Salman Global Center for the Arabic Language was established, fulfilling a long-awaited hope.”
Institutional Step
For his part, Dr. Al-Washmi clarified that the cooperation between the center and the league within the framework of the International Day of the Arabic Language represents an important institutional step in the international efforts to serve the Arabic language, embodying the center’s role in coordinating qualitative initiatives and enhancing linguistic awareness in international forums, supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 in solidifying cultural identity and promoting civilizational understanding.
He also praised the efforts of the Muslim World League and its constructive cooperation in this field, emphasizing the importance of integration between national and international institutions in enhancing the status of the Arabic language globally.
He reviewed many of the center’s tasks and efforts, explaining this in his comprehensive speech during the opening session, and while the guests of the event toured the accompanying exhibition of the center, highlighting through observable examples the significant international positioning of the center as well as its qualitative outputs.
The event included a scientific and cultural program and discussion sessions that addressed the state of the Arabic language in the Islamic world, the methodological procedures for studying Arabic in its countries, in addition to an accompanying introductory exhibition that presented models of the center’s projects and its scientific publications, and a section for handicrafts related to Arabic, in an interactive experience showcasing the connections between the Arabic language and Islamic cultural identity.
