توعد الجيش اليمني مليشيا الحوثي برد قاس إثر هجومها مجددا على ميناء المخا .
وأكد الناطق باسمه ماجد النزيلي أن “القوات المسلحة لن تسمح لميليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية بتحويل المنشآت المدنية ومصالح اليمنيين إلى أهداف مستباحة، مشددا على أن استهداف ميناء المخا بستة صواريخ باليستية مساء (الجمعة) لن يمر دون عقاب، وسيُواجَه برد رادع وقاس يتناسب مع حجم التهديد والجرائم المرتكبة.
حماية مقدرات الشعب اليمني
وقال النزيلي في تصريحات صحفية، اليوم (السبت)، إن القوات المسلحة ستواصل مهامها في حماية الشعب اليمني ومقدراته ومياهه الإقليمية ومصالحه الحيوية، والعمل على إزالة التهديد الإرهابي الحوثي المدعوم من النظام الإيراني، بما يكفل أمن اليمن وسيادته وسلامة مواطنيه”، وفق ما أوردت وكالة “سبأ”.
واشار إلى أن ميناء المخا منشأة مدنية حيوية ومرفق اقتصادي وملاحي يخدم حركة التجارة وتدفق الغذاء والسلع الأساسية إلى الشعب اليمني.
وأفاد النزيلي بأن استهداف الموانئ والمنشآت المدنية والاقتصادية يكشف مجدداً إمعان الحوثيين في فرض حصار خانق على الشعب اليمني، وتهديد أمنه الغذائي، وتدمير مقدراته ومصادر عيشه، ومفاقمة الأزمة الإنسانية التي تسببت بها الميليشيا.
حملة قمع حوثية في الحديدة
وواصلت مليشيا الحوثي عمليات التصعيد في الساحل الغربي لليمن، إذ شنت، اليوم، حملة اعتقالات طالت مدنيين في مناطق التماس جنوب محافظة الحديدة.
وتتزامن حملة الاعتقالات مع حالة من التوتر والاستنفار مناطق الساحل الغربي، بعد أيام من الهجمات الحوثية المكثفة التي استهدفت ميناء المخا ومواقع أخرى بالصواريخ الباليستية والطائرات المسيّرة والزوارق.
وشهد الساحل الغربي، أمس(الجمعة)، موجة جديدة من الهجمات، وأكدت مصادر عسكرية يمنية استخدام المليشيا عشرات الطائرات المسيّرة إلى جانب زوارق وصواريخ باليستية في عمليات استهدفت المخا ومحيطها.
وجاء ذلك بعد أيام من هجوم واسع استهدف ميناء المخا، وأسفر بحسب الجيش اليمني، عن سقوط قتلى وجرحى وأضرار في منشآت مدنية وخدمية.
ويمثل ميناء المخا منفذاً لوصول المواد الغذائية والوقود والدواء والسلع الأساسية، وهو ما دفع الحكومة اليمنية إلى التحذير من التداعيات الإنسانية والاقتصادية لاستمرار استهدافه.
مطلوب تحرك إقليمي دولي
وكان مصدر مسؤول في مجلس القيادة الرئاسي اليمني، حذر أمس (الجمعة)، من أن استمرار الحوثيين في مهاجمة المنشآت والموانئ والأعيان المدنية والاقتصادية وخطوط الملاحة الدولية “لن يمر دون عقاب”.
وأكد المصدر أن القوات المسلحة ستتخذ “الإجراءات المشروعة” التي تراها مناسبة للتعامل مع مصادر التهديد، محملاً الحوثيين مسؤولية التداعيات الناجمة عن استمرار الهجمات. واشار إلى أن الهجمات العابرة للحدود لا تمثل تهديداً للمصالح اليمنية فحسب، وإنما تمتد آثارها إلى أمن دول الجوار والأمن والسلم الدوليين.
ودعا مجلس القيادة إلى تحرك إقليمي ودولي لحماية الموانئ التجارية وسفن الشحن وتأمين حرية الملاحة في البحر الأحمر وباب المندب، محذراً من تحول الأراضي اليمنية إلى منصة لتهديد الممرات المائية والتجارة العالمية.
ويضيف التحرك الحوثي الأخير في جنوب الحديدة بعداً داخلياً جديداً إلى موجة التصعيد، إذ تتزامن حملة الاعتقالات في مناطق التماس مع استمرار الاستنفار العسكري، وسط مخاوف من اتساع نطاق المواجهات على امتداد الساحل الغربي بعد سنوات من الهدوء النسبي في عدد من جبهاته.
The Yemeni army has threatened the Houthi militia with a harsh response following their renewed attack on the port of Al-Mokha.
The spokesperson, Majid Al-Nazili, confirmed that “the armed forces will not allow the terrorist Houthi militia to turn civilian facilities and the interests of Yemenis into vulnerable targets,” emphasizing that the targeting of Al-Mokha port with six ballistic missiles on Friday evening will not go unpunished, and will be met with a deterrent and harsh response commensurate with the scale of the threat and the crimes committed.
Protecting the resources of the Yemeni people
Al-Nazili stated in press remarks today (Saturday) that the armed forces will continue their mission to protect the Yemeni people, their resources, their territorial waters, and their vital interests, and work to eliminate the Houthi terrorist threat backed by the Iranian regime, ensuring the security, sovereignty, and safety of Yemen and its citizens,” according to the Saba news agency.
He pointed out that Al-Mokha port is a vital civilian facility and an economic and maritime facility that serves the flow of trade and the supply of food and essential goods to the Yemeni people.
Al-Nazili indicated that the targeting of ports and civilian and economic facilities once again reveals the Houthis’ insistence on imposing a suffocating siege on the Yemeni people, threatening their food security, destroying their resources and livelihoods, and exacerbating the humanitarian crisis caused by the militia.
Houthi repression campaign in Al-Hudaydah
The Houthi militia continued its escalation operations on the western coast of Yemen, as it launched a campaign of arrests today targeting civilians in the contact areas south of Al-Hudaydah governorate.
This campaign of arrests coincides with a state of tension and alertness in the western coast areas, following days of intense Houthi attacks targeting Al-Mokha port and other sites with ballistic missiles, drones, and boats.
The western coast witnessed a new wave of attacks yesterday (Friday), and Yemeni military sources confirmed the militia’s use of dozens of drones alongside boats and ballistic missiles in operations targeting Al-Mokha and its surroundings.
This came after days of a wide attack targeting Al-Mokha port, which, according to the Yemeni army, resulted in casualties and injuries and damage to civilian and service facilities.
Al-Mokha port represents a gateway for the arrival of food, fuel, medicine, and essential goods, which prompted the Yemeni government to warn of the humanitarian and economic repercussions of its continued targeting.
Call for regional and international action
A responsible source in the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council warned yesterday (Friday) that the continued Houthi attacks on facilities, ports, and civilian and economic targets, as well as international shipping lines, “will not go unpunished.”
The source confirmed that the armed forces will take the “legitimate measures” they deem appropriate to deal with sources of threat, holding the Houthis responsible for the consequences resulting from the continuation of the attacks. He pointed out that cross-border attacks pose a threat not only to Yemeni interests but also extend their effects to the security of neighboring countries and international peace and security.
The Leadership Council called for regional and international action to protect commercial ports and shipping vessels and to secure freedom of navigation in the Red Sea and Bab el-Mandeb, warning against turning Yemeni territory into a platform for threatening waterways and global trade.
The recent Houthi movement in southern Al-Hudaydah adds a new internal dimension to the wave of escalation, as the campaign of arrests in contact areas coincides with continued military alertness, amid fears of an expansion of confrontations along the western coast after years of relative calm in several of its fronts.
