حددت محكمة الجنايات الكويتية جلسة 2 فبراير القادم للحكم في قضية «التلاعب في السحوبات التجارية» الشهيرة.

وكانت النيابة العامة قد أكدت أن ما حدث في قضية السحوبات التجارية المتهم فيها 73 شخصاً ليست خطأ فردياً، وإنما «جريمة منظمة»، من خلال شبكة عمدت إلى التلاعب بنتائج عدد من السحوبات التجارية والإضرار بعدالة إجراءاتها.

وأشارت النيابة العامة خلال مرافعتها أمس أمام محكمة الجنايات إلى أن المتهمين استغلوا الوظيفة العامة ومواطن الضعف في الرقابة، بغية تحقيق مكاسب مالية غير مشروعة وتقاسمها بين أفرادها.

The Kuwaiti Criminal Court has set a session for February 2nd to rule in the famous case of “manipulation of commercial draws.”

The Public Prosecution has confirmed that what occurred in the case of the commercial draws, in which 73 individuals are accused, is not an individual error, but rather a “organized crime,” through a network that manipulated the results of several commercial draws and harmed the fairness of their procedures.

During its plea yesterday before the Criminal Court, the Public Prosecution indicated that the defendants exploited their public positions and weaknesses in oversight to achieve illegal financial gains and share them among themselves.
