كشفت تقارير صادرة عن الهيئة العامة للمقاولين، (اطلعت «عكاظ» عليها)، أن أسعار حديد التسليح سجلت ارتفاعات ملحوظة خلال الفترة من يناير إلى مايو 2026، إذ راوحت نسب الزيادة بين 24.88% و28.50%، فيما تجاوزت الزيادة 700 ريال للطن في معظم المقاسات.
وتصدر حديد التسليح مقاس 16 ملم قائمة الارتفاعات بنسبة 28.50%، مرتفعاً بمقدار 727.29 ريال للطن، من 2,551.54 ريال في يناير إلى 3,278.83 ريال في شهر مايو، كما ارتفع مقاس 14 ملم بنسبة 28.40%، بزيادة بلغت 725.46 ريال للطن، من 2,554.23 ريال إلى 3,279.69 ريال.
وسجل مقاس 12 ملم زيادة قدرها 723.44 ريال للطن، مرتفعاً من 2,550.66 ريال إلى 3,274.10 ريال، بنسبة 28.36%. كما صعد سعر مقاس 18 ملم بمقدار 718.02 ريال للطن، من 2,560.35 ريال إلى 3,278.37 ريال، بنسبة 28.04%.
أما مقاس 8 ملم فارتفع بمقدار 668.51 ريال للطن، من 2,632.32 ريال إلى 3,300.83 ريال، بنسبة 25.40%، في حين سجل مقاس 10 ملم أقل نسبة ارتفاع بين المقاسات المرصودة، إذ زاد بمقدار 666.13 ريال للطن، من 2,676.99 ريال إلى 3,343.12 ريال، بنسبة 24.88%.
وتعكس هذه الارتفاعات الزيادة الملموسة في تكلفة أحد أهم مدخلات قطاع التشييد والبناء خلال أربعة أشهر فقط، ما قد ينعكس على تكاليف تنفيذ المشاريع الإنشائية والعقارية في السوق.
ويأتي هذا الارتفاع في أسعار حديد التسليح في ظل تغييرات اقتصادية عالمية تؤثر على تكاليف الإنتاج والشحن، مما يضع تحديات جديدة أمام قطاع البناء والتشييد في المملكة.

Reports from the General Authority for Contractors, which “Okaz” has reviewed, revealed that rebar prices recorded significant increases during the period from January to May 2026, with the percentage increases ranging between 24.88% and 28.50%. The increase exceeded 700 riyals per ton in most sizes.
The 16 mm rebar led the increases with a rise of 28.50%, increasing by 727.29 riyals per ton, from 2,551.54 riyals in January to 3,278.83 riyals in May. The 14 mm size also rose by 28.40%, with an increase of 725.46 riyals per ton, from 2,554.23 riyals to 3,279.69 riyals.
The 12 mm size recorded an increase of 723.44 riyals per ton, rising from 2,550.66 riyals to 3,274.10 riyals, which is a percentage increase of 28.36%. The price of the 18 mm size also rose by 718.02 riyals per ton, from 2,560.35 riyals to 3,278.37 riyals, representing a 28.04% increase.
Meanwhile, the 8 mm size increased by 668.51 riyals per ton, from 2,632.32 riyals to 3,300.83 riyals, with a percentage increase of 25.40%. The 10 mm size recorded the lowest percentage increase among the observed sizes, rising by 666.13 riyals per ton, from 2,676.99 riyals to 3,343.12 riyals, which is a 24.88% increase.
These increases reflect the tangible rise in the cost of one of the most important inputs in the construction and building sector within just four months, which may impact the costs of executing construction and real estate projects in the market.
This rise in rebar prices comes amid global economic changes affecting production and shipping costs, posing new challenges for the construction sector in the Kingdom.
