أكد نائب الرئيس الأمريكي جي دي فانس أن واشنطن لم تتوصل حتى الآن إلى اتفاق نهائي مع إيران، لكنه شدد على أن الجانبين «أصبحا قريبين جداً» من إبرام تفاهم قد يغيّر مسار التوتر في المنطقة، وذلك بالتزامن مع تصاعد الأحداث الأمنية في الخليج ومضيق هرمز.
وجاءت تصريحات فانس في وقت شهدت فيه المياه الإقليمية الإيرانية حالة استنفار عسكري وتحركات بحرية متسارعة، وسط تقارير عن إطلاق نار وتحذيرات لسفن قرب مضيق هرمز، أحد أهم الممرات النفطية في العالم.
توتر بحري في هرمز
وأفادت وسائل إعلام إيرانية بسماع أصوات إطلاق نار وانفجارات قرب بندر عباس وبوشهر، فيما ذكرت وكالة «تسنيم» أن القوات الإيرانية أطلقت طلقات تحذيرية باتجاه سفن وصفتها بـ«المخالفة» قرب مضيق هرمز.
كما نقلت وسائل إعلام عن الحرس الثوري الإيراني إطلاق النار باتجاه سفن في الخليج، بينما أكدت وكالة «مهر» أن بعض السفن حاولت العبور دون تنسيق مع القوات المسلحة الإيرانية.
لكن الجيش الإيراني نفى لاحقاً وجود انفجارات في بندر عباس، موضحاً أن ما حدث كان «إطلاق نار في البحر» فقط.
واشنطن تنفي إسقاط طائرة أمريكية
وفي تطور متزامن، نفى مسؤول أمريكي صحة تقارير إيرانية تحدثت عن إسقاط طائرة أمريكية قرب مدينة بوشهر، مؤكداً أن تلك المعلومات «غير دقيقة».
في المقابل، تحدثت وسائل إعلام إيرانية عن تصدي الدفاعات الجوية لمسيرات «معادية» في المنطقة، وسط استمرار حالة التأهب العسكري.
طهران: لا اتفاق نهائياً حتى الآن
ورغم حديث فانس عن اقتراب الاتفاق، أكدت مصادر إيرانية أن المفاوضات لم تصل بعد إلى مرحلة التوقيع النهائي.
ونقلت وكالة «فارس» عن مسؤول إيراني أن واشنطن تسعى لوضع قيود تعرقل البرنامج النووي الإيراني، فيما قال مصدر قريب من فريق التفاوض إن نص مذكرة التفاهم المحتملة «لم يُحسم بعد».
كما نفت وكالة «تسنيم» صحة التقارير الغربية التي تحدثت عن إتمام اتفاق نهائي بين طهران وواشنطن، مؤكدة أن إيران لم تبلغ الوسيط الباكستاني بانتهاء صياغة الاتفاق.
«وول ستريت جورنال»: تفاهم قد يغيّر المشهد
وفي سياق متصل، نقلت صحيفة «وول ستريت جورنال» عن مسؤولين أمريكيين أن أي تفاهم محتمل مع إيران قد ينعكس على ملفات إقليمية أخرى، بينها الحرب بين إسرائيل و«حزب الله».
وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أن أحد أكبر التحديات يتمثل في آلية اتخاذ القرار داخل إيران، ومدى قدرة المؤسسات الإيرانية على تمرير الاتفاق والموافقة النهائية عليه.
العالم يترقب
وتأتي هذه التطورات وسط ترقب دولي واسع لمصير الملاحة في مضيق هرمز، في ظل المخاوف من انزلاق التوترات العسكرية إلى مواجهة أوسع قد تهدد أمن الطاقة العالمي والاستقرار الإقليمي.
U.S. Vice President JD Vance confirmed that Washington has not yet reached a final agreement with Iran, but emphasized that the two sides have “become very close” to reaching an understanding that could change the course of tensions in the region, coinciding with the escalation of security events in the Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz.
Vance’s statements came at a time when Iranian territorial waters were witnessing military mobilization and rapid naval movements, amid reports of gunfire and warnings to ships near the Strait of Hormuz, one of the most important oil passages in the world.
Maritime Tension in Hormuz
Iranian media reported hearing gunfire and explosions near Bandar Abbas and Bushehr, while the “Tasnim” agency mentioned that Iranian forces fired warning shots at ships described as “violating” near the Strait of Hormuz.
Media outlets also reported that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard fired at ships in the Gulf, while the “Mehr” agency confirmed that some vessels attempted to cross without coordination with the Iranian armed forces.
However, the Iranian military later denied the occurrence of explosions in Bandar Abbas, clarifying that what happened was “gunfire at sea” only.
Washington Denies Downing U.S. Aircraft
In a simultaneous development, an American official denied the accuracy of Iranian reports about the downing of a U.S. aircraft near the city of Bushehr, confirming that the information is “inaccurate.”
In contrast, Iranian media reported that air defenses intercepted “hostile” drones in the region, amid ongoing military readiness.
Tehran: No Final Agreement Yet
Despite Vance’s comments about the nearing agreement, Iranian sources confirmed that negotiations have not yet reached the final signing stage.
The “Fars” agency quoted an Iranian official stating that Washington seeks to impose restrictions that hinder the Iranian nuclear program, while a source close to the negotiating team indicated that the text of the potential memorandum of understanding “has not been finalized yet.”
The “Tasnim” agency also denied the accuracy of Western reports that spoke of a final agreement being completed between Tehran and Washington, confirming that Iran has not informed the Pakistani mediator about the conclusion of the agreement’s drafting.
“Wall Street Journal”: An Understanding That Could Change the Scene
In a related context, the “Wall Street Journal” reported from American officials that any potential understanding with Iran could reflect on other regional issues, including the war between Israel and “Hezbollah.”
The newspaper noted that one of the biggest challenges lies in the decision-making mechanism within Iran, and the ability of Iranian institutions to pass the agreement and give final approval.
