أعلن مسؤول أمني إسرائيلي، إعادة فتح معبر رفح بين غزة ومصر أمام سكان قطاع غزة في الاتجاهين، اليوم(الإثنين).
أول أيام التشغيل
وقال المسؤول «اعتباراً من هذه اللحظة، وبعد وصول فرق بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي للمساعدة الحدودية (يوبام) نيابة عن الاتحاد الأوروبي، تم فتح معبر رفح الآن لحركة السكان، سواء للدخول أو الخروج».
وسيسمح معبر رفح البري الحدودي بمرور 50 شخصاً في كل اتجاه مع بدء تشغيله رسمياً، بحسب إعلام حكومي مصري.
ونقلت قناة «القاهرة الإخبارية» أن عدد المغادرين من مصر إلى غزة خلال أول أيام تشغيل معبر رفح سيكون 50 شخصاً، والعدد نفسه للعابرين من القطاع إلى مصر، بعد أكثر من عامين على الحرب. رغم أن مصدر مصري أعلن أمس دخول 150 مصاباً فلسطينياً، مقابل خروج 150 فلسطينياً ممن تلقوا العلاج والرعاية الصحية وتماثلوا للشفاء، بشكل يومي.
وأعلنت السلطات المصرية حالة الاستعداد القصوى داخل مستشفيات سيناء لاستقبال مصابي غزة، بالتزامن مع وصول أول دفعة عائدة إلى القطاع مروراً بمعبر رفح الحدودي.
نقطة تفتيش للعائدين
وكانت إسرائيل، أعلنت أمس الأحد، تدشين ممر خاص لفحص الفلسطينيين الداخلين إلى قطاع غزة. ونشر الجيش الإسرائيلي توثيقاً من نقطة التفتيش للعائدين إلى غزة عبر معبر رفح حيث سيتم إجراء عمليات التعرف على الوجوه والتفتيش الدقيق.
وذكر الجيش الإسرائيلي أن العائدين لن يتم نقلهم إلى مناطق غزة إلا بعد وصولهم إلى نقطة تفتيش «ريغافيم» الإسرائيلية. ومن المقرر أن يبدأ هذا الإجراء اليوم.
العمل لمدة 6 ساعات
وأعلنت إسرائيل أنها ستسمح اعتباراً من اليوم الإثنين بمغادرة 50 مريضاً يوميا. ولكل مريضٍ مرافقان اثنان فقط، وفق ما نقلته هيئة البث الإسرائيلية.
وأضافت المصادر أن معبر رفح سيعمل في المرحلة الأولى لمدة 6 ساعات يومياً من الساعة التاسعة صباحاً وحتى الساعة الثالثة مساءً.
ودخلت بعثة الاتحاد الأوروبي، التي ستتولى تشغيل معبر رفح، إلى قطاع غزة عبر معبر كرم أبو سالم بمرافقة الجيش الإسرائيلي، تمهيداً لانتقالها إلى المعبر عبر محور فيلادلفي وفتحه أمام الغزيين.
وقال مصدر فلسطيني إن منظمة الصحة العالمية والصليب الأحمر يعملان على ترتيبات إيصال المرضى والجرحى من مستشفيات القطاع إلى بوابة معبر رفح بالتنسيق مع الموظفين الفلسطينيين المتواجدين في المعبر.
وأضاف أن الجهات الطبية المصرية في مستشفيات العريش وبئر العبد في شمال سيناء تستعد لاستقبال المرضى والجرحى القادمين من قطاع غزة.
An Israeli security official announced the reopening of the Rafah crossing between Gaza and Egypt for residents of the Gaza Strip in both directions today (Monday).
First Day of Operation
The official stated, “From this moment, and after the arrival of the European Union Border Assistance Mission (EUBAM) on behalf of the European Union, the Rafah crossing is now open for the movement of residents, whether for entry or exit.”
The Rafah land crossing will allow the passage of 50 people in each direction as it officially begins operations, according to Egyptian government media.
The “Cairo News” channel reported that the number of people leaving Egypt for Gaza during the first day of the Rafah crossing’s operation will be 50, with the same number crossing from the Gaza Strip to Egypt, after more than two years of war. Although an Egyptian source announced yesterday the entry of 150 injured Palestinians, in exchange for the exit of 150 Palestinians who received treatment and healthcare and have recovered, on a daily basis.
The Egyptian authorities announced a state of maximum readiness within Sinai hospitals to receive injured individuals from Gaza, coinciding with the arrival of the first batch returning to the Gaza Strip via the Rafah border crossing.
Checkpoint for Returnees
Israel announced yesterday, Sunday, the establishment of a special corridor for inspecting Palestinians entering the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army published documentation from the checkpoint for those returning to Gaza via the Rafah crossing, where facial recognition and thorough inspections will be conducted.
The Israeli army stated that returnees will not be transported to areas in Gaza until they reach the Israeli “Regevim” checkpoint. This procedure is scheduled to begin today.
Working for 6 Hours
Israel announced that starting today, Monday, it will allow 50 patients to leave daily. Each patient is allowed only two companions, according to the Israeli Broadcasting Authority.
Sources added that the Rafah crossing will operate in the first phase for 6 hours daily, from 9 AM to 3 PM.
The European Union mission, which will operate the Rafah crossing, entered the Gaza Strip via the Karem Abu Salem crossing, accompanied by the Israeli army, in preparation for its transfer to the crossing through the Philadelphi route and its opening for Gazans.
A Palestinian source stated that the World Health Organization and the Red Cross are working on arrangements to transport patients and injured individuals from hospitals in the Gaza Strip to the Rafah crossing gate in coordination with the Palestinian staff present at the crossing.
He added that Egyptian medical authorities in hospitals in Al-Arish and Bir al-Abd in North Sinai are preparing to receive patients and injured individuals coming from the Gaza Strip.
