تستعد الولايات المتحدة لإرسال مجموعة ثالثة من حاملات الطائرات إلى الشرق الأوسط وعلى رأسها حاملة الطائرات (يو إس إس جورج إتش دبليو بوش).
وأعلنت قناة «فوكس نيوز»، أن مجموعة حاملة الطائرات الثالثة تستعد لعبور المحيط الأطلسي والانضمام إلى الحرب على إيران، ومن المتوقع نشر حاملة الطائرات (يو إس إس جورج إتش دبليو بوش) «قريباً».
وكشفت صحيفة «واشنطن بوست» أن الفرقة 82 للقتال البري قد تُرسل للشرق الأوسط مع اتساع الصراع مع إيران.
وتوجد حالياً حاملة الطائرات الأمريكية (يو إس إس أبراهام لينكولن) في منطقة العمليات العسكرية الأمريكية – الإسرائيلية ضد إيران، فيما تتمركز حاملة الطائرات الثانية (يو إس إس جيرالد آر فورد) حاليا في البحر الأحمر.
من جهة أخرى، من المقرر تنظيم احتجاجات بالقرب من السفارتين الأمريكية والإيرانية في لندن، حيث تم تكثيف دوريات الشرطة في جميع أنحاء العاصمة.
وتنطلق بعد ظهر اليوم (السبت)، مظاهرة «منصة من أجل الحرية» المناهضة للحكومة الإيرانية من وايتهول إلى طريق كينسينغتون بالقرب من هايد بارك في نايتسبريدج، بالقرب من مكان وجود سفارة البلاد، حسب وكالة الأنباء البريطانية (بي.إيه.ميديا).
كما تنطلق مسيرة منفصلة لجماعات من بينها حملة نزع السلاح النووي، وائتلاف وقف الحرب، وحملة التضامن مع فلسطين من ميلبانك إلى سفارة الولايات المتحدة للمطالبة بإنهاء الهجمات على إيران.
وفرضت شرطة العاصمة شروطاً تلزم المتظاهرين بالبقاء على طرق محددة وإنهاء مسيراتهم بحلول الساعة الخامسة من بعد ظهر اليوم بتوقيت غرينتش.
وحظرت شرطة سكوتلاند يارد استخدام معدات تضخيم الصوت للموسيقى أو الخطابات والآلات الموسيقية في الاحتجاجات المناهضة للحكومة الإيرانية «للحد من الإزعاج للأشخاص الذين يعيشون في مناطق مجاورة».
وقالت الشرطة إنها كثفت الدوريات حول «مواقع رئيسية» و«في المجتمعات الأكثر تأثراً بهذه الفعاليات» في الأيام الأخيرة.

The Washington Post revealed that the 82nd Airborne Division may be sent to the Middle East as the conflict with Iran escalates.
Currently, the American aircraft carrier (USS Abraham Lincoln) is in the area of U.S.-Israeli military operations against Iran, while the second aircraft carrier (USS Gerald R. Ford) is currently stationed in the Red Sea.
On another note, protests are set to be organized near the American and Iranian embassies in London, where police patrols have been intensified throughout the capital.
This afternoon (Saturday), a demonstration called “Platform for Freedom” against the Iranian government will march from Whitehall to Kensington Road near Hyde Park in Knightsbridge, close to the location of the country’s embassy, according to the British news agency (PA Media).
A separate march will also take place involving groups including the Nuclear Disarmament Campaign, the Stop the War Coalition, and the Solidarity with Palestine Campaign, marching from Millbank to the U.S. Embassy to demand an end to attacks on Iran.
The Metropolitan Police have imposed conditions requiring protesters to stay on designated routes and to conclude their marches by 5 PM GMT.
Scotland Yard has banned the use of sound amplification equipment for music or speeches and musical instruments at the anti-Iranian government protests “to reduce disturbance to people living in nearby areas.”
The police stated that they have increased patrols around “key sites” and “in communities most affected by these events” in recent days.
