أثار حادثة مرورية مأساوية وقعت بمنطقة حدائق الأهرام بمحافظة الجيزة حالة من الغضب والحزن في الشارع المصري، بعدما لقيت سيدة مصرعها إثر تعرضها للدهس على يد طالب قاصر كان يقود سيارة والده بصورة غير قانونية، فيما وثق مقطع فيديو متداول لحظات الحادثة التي هزت مواقع التواصل الاجتماعي.
ووفقاً لبيان صادر عن وزارة الداخلية المصرية، تلقت الأجهزة الأمنية بلاغاً بوقوع حادثة تصادم بدائرة قسم شرطة الأهرام، وبالانتقال والفحص تبين أن سيارة ملاكي يقودها طالب يبلغ من العمر 15 عاماً، لا يحمل رخصة قيادة، اصطدمت بسيدة كانت تقف بجوار الطريق بالقرب من سيارتها الخاصة ببيع المشروبات.
وأوضحت التحريات الأولية أن الطالب كان يقود السيارة بسرعة كبيرة وبرفقته فتاة، قبل أن يفقد السيطرة على عجلة القيادة، ما أدى إلى انحراف السيارة واصطدامها بالسيدة بقوة، لتفارق الحياة في موقع الحادث متأثرة بإصابتها، فيما تعرضت سيارتها لتلفيات جسيمة.
وأكدت وزارة الداخلية أنه جرى التحفظ على السيارة والسائق القاصر فور وقوع الحادث، واتخاذ الإجراءات القانونية اللازمة، بينما باشرت النيابة العامة التحقيقات للوقوف على ملابسات الواقعة وتحديد المسؤوليات القانونية المترتبة عليها.
وأشعل مقطع الفيديو المتداول موجة واسعة من الجدل على منصات التواصل الاجتماعي، حيث عبر آلاف المستخدمين عن غضبهم من تكرار حوادث قيادة القاصرين للسيارات، متسائلين عن كيفية تمكن طفل لم يبلغ السن القانونية من قيادة سيارة في أحد الشوارع المزدحمة.
وطالب كثيرون بضرورة تشديد الرقابة على هذه الظاهرة ومحاسبة أولياء الأمور الذين يسمحون لأبنائهم بقيادة المركبات دون تراخيص، معتبرين أن المسؤولية لا تقع على القاصر وحده، بل تمتد إلى من أتاح له الوصول إلى السيارة.
وتُعد قيادة المركبات دون السن القانونية من المخالفات التي تواجهها الأجهزة المرورية في مصر بشكل متكرر، رغم الحملات المستمرة لضبط المخالفين وتطبيق القوانين المنظمة للقيادة.
وينص قانون المرور المصري على ضرورة حصول قائد المركبة على رخصة قيادة سارية، بعد بلوغه السن القانونية واجتياز الاختبارات المقررة، فيما قد تمتد المسؤولية القانونية في بعض الحالات إلى مالك السيارة إذا ثبت علمه أو سماحه بقيادة شخص غير مؤهل أو غير مرخص له.
وتعيد حادثة حدائق الأهرام إلى الواجهة مطالبات مجتمعية متكررة بتغليظ العقوبات المرتبطة بقيادة القاصرين، خاصة بعد تزايد الحوادث التي راح ضحيتها أبرياء نتيجة القيادة المتهورة أو غير القانونية، في وقت تؤكد فيه الجهات المختصة استمرار حملاتها لضبط المخالفات وتعزيز السلامة على الطرق.
A tragic traffic incident that occurred in the Al-Ahram Gardens area in Giza Governorate has sparked a wave of anger and sadness in Egyptian streets, after a woman lost her life when she was run over by a minor student driving his father’s car illegally. A circulating video captured the moments of the incident that shook social media.
According to a statement issued by the Egyptian Ministry of Interior, security forces received a report of a collision in the jurisdiction of the Al-Ahram Police Station. Upon arrival and inspection, it was found that a private car driven by a 15-year-old student, who does not have a driver’s license, collided with a woman standing next to the road near her beverage sales vehicle.
Initial investigations revealed that the student was driving at high speed with a girl beside him before he lost control of the steering wheel, causing the car to veer off and collide forcefully with the woman, who died at the scene due to her injuries, while her vehicle sustained severe damage.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that the car and the minor driver were seized immediately after the incident, and necessary legal actions were taken, while the Public Prosecution began investigations to determine the circumstances of the incident and the legal responsibilities arising from it.
The circulating video ignited a wide wave of controversy on social media platforms, as thousands of users expressed their anger over the recurrence of incidents involving minors driving cars, questioning how a child who has not reached the legal age could drive a car in one of the crowded streets.
Many called for stricter monitoring of this phenomenon and accountability for parents who allow their children to drive vehicles without licenses, considering that the responsibility does not lie solely with the minor, but also extends to those who enabled him to access the car.
Driving vehicles without reaching the legal age is one of the violations that traffic authorities in Egypt face repeatedly, despite ongoing campaigns to apprehend violators and enforce driving regulations.
The Egyptian traffic law stipulates that a vehicle driver must have a valid driver’s license after reaching the legal age and passing the required tests, while in some cases, legal responsibility may extend to the vehicle owner if it is proven that he was aware of or permitted an unqualified or unlicensed person to drive.
