Évian-les-Bains, France: UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with French President Emmanuel Macron on the sidelines of the G7 Summit in Évian-les-Bains.
The two leaders reviewed the longstanding relations between the UAE and France and explored ways to expand cooperation across several sectors, including investment, technology, artificial intelligence, energy and culture, within the framework of the strategic partnership between the two countries.
Strengthening bilateral cooperation
The discussions highlighted opportunities to further enhance collaboration and deepen ties in key areas of mutual interest, reflecting the strength of the partnership between the UAE and France.
Focus on regional developments
The meeting also included an exchange of views on a number of regional and international issues, with particular attention given to the latest developments in the Middle East.
Appreciation for cooperation
Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed appreciation to President Macron for the invitation to participate in the G7 Summit and for the warm welcome extended to the UAE delegation.
He also wished France success in chairing the summit and advancing outcomes that support global prosperity and development.
