Representations regarding the seating accommodation in the Intermediate compartments on the Madras-Calcutta section of the M. & S.M.R. elicited a reply from the General Traffic Manager that the nature of the complaint was understood and that the defect would be remedied by an alteration in the construction of the adjustable bunk.
