The judge in the Mombasa court said Paul Mackenzie was sentenced to “100 years imprisonment for each of the 183 counts of starvation… (and) 100 years imprisonment for each of the eight counts of murders by direct homicide…to run concurrently with one another”.

Twenty-eight accomplices were also sentenced to a variety of prison terms.
