Veteran actor Kota Srinivasa Rao passed away on July 13, 2025, at the age of 83 in Hyderabad. His final rites will be held today.

With a career spanning 40 years, Kota Srinivasa Rao graced the silver screen in over 750 movies. His final appearance will be in Pawan Kalyan’s upcoming film, Hari Hara Veera Mallu, set to release on July 24, 2025.

Interestingly, Kota Srinivasa Rao began his illustrious career with Megastar Chiranjeevi and concluded it with his younger brother, Pawan Kalyan. Despite not being in good health when the role was offered, he agreed to participate for Pawan Kalyan. Director Krish crafted a small but significant role for him, and Kota Srinivasa Rao completed filming his scenes at Annapurna Studios.
