Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday extended heartfelt greetings to workers and farmer brothers on the occasion of International Labour Day.
“It is our duty to accord equal respect to every individual, regardless of their profession. This is a historic day that recognizes the rights of the working class, who labor tirelessly day and night,” he said in post on ‘X’.
“If agriculture—the backbone of the nation’s economic progress—is advancing, it is due to the labor power of farmers and agricultural laborers. Only when workers and farmers march hand in hand can the nation stride forward on the path of progress,” he added.
“That is why the coalition government is constantly and systematically devising plans… and taking proactive steps for the welfare of workers and farmers. It is implementing numerous welfare and development schemes for the world of labor,” he said.
