The Puducherry police have arrested two persons who were allegedly involved in a triple murder case in Bengaluru.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Law and Order, R. Kalaivanan gave the names of the accused as Swetha and Kennath.

Two days ago, a police team involved in night rounds spotted Swetha sitting in an autorickshaw near the New Bus Stand. On being questioned, she was unable to give convincing answers, the SSP said.

“As Swetha was taken to the police station for further questioning, she voluntarily confessed to her involvement in the triple murder at Bengaluru four days ago. We informed K. R. Pura Police station in that State. The Bengaluru police later informed us of another accused involved in the case. Thus, we got Kennath also,” the SSP said.

Both the accused have been handed over to the K. R. Pura police. As per the information shared by the Bengaluru police, Kennath is accused of plotting the murder of Swetha’s parents and sister. The parents were opposed to the relationship between Kennath and Swetha, police said.
