ارتفعت أسعار الذهب بأكثر من 1% اليوم، مدعومةً بضعف الدولار، في حين هدّأ انخفاض أسعار النفط من مخاوف التضخم واستمرار ارتفاع أسعار الفائدة لفترة أطول.

وصعد سعر الذهب في المعاملات الفورية بنسبة 1.7% إلى 4633.31 دولار للأوقية (الأونصة)، فيما زادت العقود الأمريكية الآجلة للذهب تسليم يونيو بنسبة 1.7% إلى 4643.20 دولار.

وفي المعادن النفيسة الأخرى، ارتفع سعر الفضة في المعاملات الفورية بنسبة 2.7% إلى 74.80 دولار للأوقية، كما ارتفع سعر البلاتين بنسبة 1.7% إلى 1986.25 دولار، وزاد سعر البلاديوم بنسبة 2.1% إلى 1516.44 دولار.

Gold prices rose by more than 1% today, supported by a weak dollar, while the decline in oil prices eased inflation fears and the prospect of prolonged interest rate hikes.

The price of gold in spot transactions increased by 1.7% to $4633.31 per ounce, while U.S. gold futures for June delivery rose by 1.7% to $4643.20.

In other precious metals, the price of silver in spot transactions increased by 2.7% to $74.80 per ounce, while the price of platinum rose by 1.7% to $1986.25, and the price of palladium increased by 2.1% to $1516.44.
