توقع المركز الوطني للأرصاد في تقريره عن حالة الطقس لهذا اليوم (الأربعاء)، استمرار هطول أمطار رعدية متوسطة إلى غزيرة تؤدي إلى جريان السيول، مصحوبة بزخات من البرد، على أجزاء من مناطق جازان وعسير والباحة ومكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة.
وأشار التقرير إلى استمرار فرصة تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على أجزاء من منطقة نجران، فيما تنشط الرياح السطحية المثيرة للأتربة والغبار على أجزاء من تلك المناطق، وكذلك على الأجزاء الشمالية من المنطقة الشرقية وأجزاء من منطقتي تبوك والرياض.
كما لا يُستبعد تكوّن الضباب خلال الليل وساعات الصباح الباكر على الأجزاء الساحلية من الخليج العربي والبحر الأحمر.
رياح تتجاوز 50 كيلومتراً على البحر الأحمر
وعن حالة البحر الأحمر، توقع المركز أن تكون الرياح السطحية شمالية غربية إلى غربية بسرعة تتراوح بين 15 و35 كيلومتراً في الساعة على الجزأين الشمالي والأوسط، وجنوبية شرقية إلى جنوبية غربية بسرعة تتراوح بين 10 و30 كيلومتراً في الساعة على الجزء الجنوبي، تصل إلى أكثر من 50 كيلومتراً في الساعة مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة.
ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر ونصف على الجزأين الشمالي والأوسط، ومن نصف متر إلى متر ونصف على الجزء الجنوبي، ويصل إلى أعلى من مترين مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة.
وتكون حالة البحر خفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج على الجزأين الشمالي والأوسط، وخفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج تصل إلى مائجة مع تكوّن السحب الرعدية الممطرة على الجزء الجنوبي.
الخليج العربي خفيف إلى متوسط الموج
وفي الخليج العربي، تكون الرياح السطحية جنوبية غربية إلى شمالية غربية بسرعة تتراوح بين 10 و25 كيلومتراً في الساعة على الجزء الشمالي، وشمالية غربية إلى شمالية شرقية بسرعة تتراوح بين 10 و30 كيلومتراً في الساعة على الجزء الجنوبي.
ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج بين نصف متر ومتر على الجزء الشمالي، وبين نصف متر ومتر ونصف على الجزء الجنوبي.
وتكون حالة البحر خفيفة الموج على الجزء الشمالي، وخفيفة إلى متوسطة الموج على الجزء الجنوبي.
The National Center of Meteorology, in its report on the weather conditions for today (Wednesday), expected continued rainfall ranging from moderate to heavy, leading to the flow of torrents, accompanied by showers of hail, over parts of the regions of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Madinah.
The report indicated that there is still a chance for the formation of thunderstorm clouds over parts of the Najran region, while surface winds stirring up dust and sand will be active in parts of those areas, as well as in the northern parts of the Eastern Province and parts of the Tabuk and Riyadh regions.
Fog formation during the night and early morning hours is also not ruled out along the coastal areas of the Arabian Gulf and the Red Sea.
Winds exceeding 50 kilometers on the Red Sea
Regarding the condition of the Red Sea, the center expected surface winds to be northwesterly to westerly at speeds ranging from 15 to 35 kilometers per hour in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to southwesterly at speeds ranging from 10 to 30 kilometers per hour in the southern part, reaching over 50 kilometers per hour with the formation of thunderstorm clouds.
Wave heights will range from half a meter to one and a half meters in the northern and central parts, and from half a meter to one and a half meters in the southern part, reaching over two meters with the formation of thunderstorm clouds.
The sea condition will be light to moderate in the northern and central parts, and light to moderate with rough conditions with the formation of thunderstorm clouds in the southern part.
Arabian Gulf light to moderate waves
In the Arabian Gulf, surface winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds ranging from 10 to 25 kilometers per hour in the northern part, and northwesterly to northeasterly at speeds ranging from 10 to 30 kilometers per hour in the southern part.
Wave heights will range from half a meter to one meter in the northern part, and between half a meter and one and a half meters in the southern part.
The sea condition will be light in the northern part, and light to moderate in the southern part.
