فيما تقدم الجيش اليمني في جبهة مديرية حيفان جنوب شرق محافظة تعز، أقدمت مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية اليوم (السبت) على قتل اربعة مدنيين وإصابة تسعة آخرين في قصف بصاروخ باليستي لتجمع للمدنيين على طريق هجية العبد.
ونقلت وكالة الأنباء اليمنية «سبأ» عن مصادر محلية قولها: مليشيا الحوثي قصفت اليوم الطريق الرابط بين محافظتي تعز ولحج (هيجدة العبد) واستهدفت المسافرين والمدنيين في تلك الطريق بصاروخ باليستي مخلّفة أربعة قتلى و تسعة مصابين من المدنيين إضافة إلى أضرار مادية.
وتواصل مليشيا الحوثي الإرهابية، استهداف المدنيين والأعيان المدنية في محافظة تعز، في انتهاك صارخ للقانون الدولي الإنساني.
وتلجأ المليشيا الحوثية لاستهداف المدنيين بشكل متعمد كلما تكبدت خسائر فادحة أو خسرت مواقعها.
وبحسب الوكالة فإن اللواء الرابع حزم في الجيش اليمني تمكن اليوم من تحقيق تقدم ميداني جديد في جبهة حيفان وطرد الحوثيين.
وأوضح مصدر عسكري في اللواء الرابع حزم، أن الجيش سيطر على جبلي «الوثرة» و«سعيد طه» في منطقة المفاليس، بالتزامن مع السيطرة على جبال «ذيبان» و«الخضيرة» و«النجدين»، مبيناً أن المليشيا تكبدت خسائر بشرية ومادية، فيما فرت عناصرها من مواقع المواجهات.
وأشار إلى أن الجبال التي تمت السيطرة عليها لها أهمية عسكرية كونها مواقع حاكمة تطل على سوق الخزجة وخطوط إمداد المليشيا باتجاه عدد من الجبهات شمال غربي محافظة لحج وجنوبي تعز، موضحاً أن العمليات مستمرة ومتواصلة.
بدوره، قال المتحدث باسم المقاومة الوطنية التابعة للجيش اليمني صادق دويد: تخوض قواتنا المسلحة في الساحل الغربي مواجهات عنيفة لردع محاولات مليشيا الحوثي اختراق جبهاتنا في البر، وتهديد الملاحة في البحر، مبيناً أن القوات تصدت لهذه المحاولات في البر وفي البحر، وتواصل في هذه الأثناء عملياتها الهجومية المعاكسة.
وأشار إلى أن العمليات الجارية التي تخوضها القوات اليوم ليست فقط ضد الحوثي، بل هي مواجهة مع إيران ومشروعها الذي يستهدف اليمن وموقعه الإستراتيجي، وفي مقدمة أهدافه السيطرة على باب المندب والجزر اليمنية، لتهديد الملاحة وأمن الإقليم.
ولفت إلى أن المعركة تضع في رأس أولوياتها الدفاع عن اليمن، وعن أمن المنطقة، وعن السلم العالمي.
من جانبها، قالت مصادر عسكرية إن دخول سلاح الجو اليمني خلال الساعات الماضية في المعركة أفشل مخططات المليشيا ودعم الجيش على الأرض لتحقيق تقدم على مختلف الجبهات.
As the Yemeni army advanced on the front in the Hifan district southeast of Taiz governorate, the Houthi terrorist militia today (Saturday) killed four civilians and injured nine others in a ballistic missile strike on a gathering of civilians on the Hijjat al-Abd road.
The Yemeni news agency “Saba” reported local sources saying: The Houthi militia shelled today the road linking the governorates of Taiz and Lahij (Hijjat al-Abd) and targeted travelers and civilians on that road with a ballistic missile, resulting in four civilian deaths and nine injuries, in addition to material damages.
The Houthi terrorist militia continues to target civilians and civilian objects in Taiz governorate, in a blatant violation of international humanitarian law.
The Houthi militia resorts to deliberately targeting civilians whenever it suffers heavy losses or loses its positions.
According to the agency, the Fourth Brigade Hazm of the Yemeni army was able today to achieve new field progress on the Hifan front and expel the Houthis.
A military source in the Fourth Brigade Hazm explained that the army took control of the “Al-Wathra” and “Saeed Taha” mountains in the Al-Mafalis area, coinciding with the control of the “Dhiban,” “Al-Khudayrah,” and “Al-Najdain” mountains, indicating that the militia suffered human and material losses, while its elements fled from the confrontation sites.
He pointed out that the mountains that were taken over are of military importance as they overlook the Khazjah market and the militia’s supply lines towards several fronts in the northwest of Lahij governorate and southern Taiz, clarifying that operations are ongoing and continuous.
For his part, the spokesman for the National Resistance affiliated with the Yemeni army, Sadiq Dweid, said: Our armed forces on the western coast are engaged in fierce confrontations to deter the Houthi militia’s attempts to breach our fronts on land and threaten navigation at sea, noting that the forces have repelled these attempts both on land and at sea, and are currently continuing their counter-offensive operations.
He pointed out that the ongoing operations being conducted by the forces today are not only against the Houthis, but are a confrontation with Iran and its project that targets Yemen and its strategic position, with the primary goals of controlling Bab al-Mandab and the Yemeni islands, to threaten navigation and regional security.
He emphasized that the battle prioritizes defending Yemen, regional security, and global peace.
For its part, military sources stated that the entry of the Yemeni air force in recent hours into the battle has thwarted the militia’s plans and supported the army on the ground to achieve progress on various fronts.
